Helping users keep track of banking activities
The team didn't settle for small improvements when revamping the RHB Mobile Banking app (MBK). Instead, we took the challenge of migrating to a new code base as a chance to give the user experience a major boost, while also introducing some thrilling new features. The activity feature was one that I was in charge of enhancing.

The activity feature
In a nutshell, it enables users to monitor various banking activities, including application statuses, loan payments, payment reminders, payment requests, and more. During our user testing sessions, we uncovered some surprising findings about how users perceive the activity tab. It was unknown to all participants, and users had difficulty finding it on their first attempt. Additionally, we discovered that the savings account entry point was the top choice for the majority of users on their first and second tries.
My contributions
I utilized users' current behavior to introduce the new activity feature and explored several ways to educate users without making the experience intrusive. Alongside my lead designer, I also designed several variations to accommodate both our legacy and new code bases. Unfortunately, I cannot share the concepts and explorations publicly for this unreleased feature due to an NDA. I'm happy to share more details verbally during the interview.
